Overview and Acceptance of Terms:
All products featured on this website are designed and made by Hunt & Hope Ltd (“We” or “us”). This website is owned and operated by Hunt & Hope Ltd.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with Hunt & Hope Ltd and to your use of this website.
By placing an order with us, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to update and amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Prices and Payment Terms:
Prices charged shall be Hunt & Hope Ltd’s quoted price at the date of order. All quotations are valid for 6 weeks from the date of quotation. Hunt & Hope Ltd. is VAT registered, with VAT no 401027660. Prices are exclusive of VAT. Please note local tax may apply on shipping and will be charged separately.
All orders require payment of a deposit amount set out in Hunt & Hope Ltd’s pro forma invoice, such payment to be made before any design work can be commenced by us. Any subsequent changes to the price will be confirmed in writing.
All online orders directly purchased from the website are payable in full before production begins.
Payment must be made in pounds Sterling (£) and the payment method is BACS. Paypal and Revolut are used for all of our International clients.
Timings for Delivery and Production Period:
The production period (“Production Period”) of your order will start on the date when all the specifications of the order (e.g. finish selection, client validation) are received and confirmed by you, to us, in writing, and subject to prompt payment of invoices then due.
A delay in confirmation of specifications will usually lead to a delay in the delivery date for your order.
Please allow a minimum of 15 weeks and up to 18 weeks, from the start of the Production Period, for all orders (with a few exceptions such as Stockings – see below); there are multiple processes involved and it all takes time and everything is done by hand.
Needlepoint rugs and Stockings can take from 12 to up to 25 weeks from the start of the Production Period.
There may be occasions when we are unable to complete the order within this quoted Production Period, due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as Acts of God or global pandemics. If this occurs, we will keep you regularly informed.
Delivery:
All International shipments are fully insured and delivered via DHL’s Express service. We use Parcelforce and DHL for all UK shipments.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel an order you must do so prior to payment of the initial deposit. The majority of our products are made-to-order and so in the event that, having placed an order, you wish to cancel it, after payment of the deposit, we will unfortunately have the right (at our discretion) to charge the full price of the order. This applies to all orders cancelled prior to delivery.
Returns Policy:
We are unable to offer a return or a refund on our products.
All orders need to be unpacked and inspected by you immediately on delivery. If any of the items are not in accordance with the written order, are damaged or defective please give Hunt & Hope Ltd notice, in writing within 3 days of delivery specifying the nature of the fault. Please contact the studio directly by email at info@huntandhope.com.
If an item made and supplied by Hunt & Hope Ltd is found by us to be faulty, we will endeavour to repair it.
Our Products:
Please be aware that the wool used by Hunt & Hope Ltd is a natural product and therefore colours may vary slightly. These natural differences in colour are not deemed to be a fault by Hunt & Hope Ltd.
Aftercare:
- Fading:
Like all fabrics, needlepoint will fade over time if it is exposed to direct sunlight. We can’t guarantee against colour fading.
- Cleaning:
Wipe clean with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and then use a dry cloth to remove any excess moisture.
Rights, Intellectual Property and Copyright:
All rights, including intellectual property rights and copyright, in and to: (i) our designs, (ii) our products and (iii) this website (including, without limitation, images and photos featured on the website) are owned by or licensed by Hunt & Hope Ltd and we reserve all rights in the same.
Any use of all or part of Hunt & Hope Ltd’s designs, products or this website including, without limitation, any copying or storing all or any part of our website on other websites or social media posts, is prohibited unless such use is with Hunt & Hope Ltd’s express, prior written permission. We reserve the right to grant permission at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to apply for injunctive relief and other remedies in order to enforce our intellectual property rights.
If you supply a design to Hunt & Hope Ltd for us to copy, you must either own the copyright or have received permission from the copyright owner for us to copy the design. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure any design they supply does not infringe any third-party copyrights. Hunt & Hope Ltd cannot be held responsible for copyright infringement when a customer supplies a design to be copied by us for a product and any and all liability for the copying by us remains with the customer.
Jurisdiction:
These Terms and Conditions, the website, its content and any contract entered into by you with us when you place an order with us, are governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
Any dispute relating to or arising from an order placed with us or to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
