When we set up our Needlepoint business in 2017, our aim was simple. To inject this ancient craft with brilliant colours and contemporary patterns, making it compatible with the modern home. It is all about collaboration and a fantastic bespoke service. Lead times are long because hand-stitched Needlepoint does take time. The reward for this patience is that it lasts for generations.

Everything we do is bespoke and everything we stitch is stitched by hand.

OUR WOOLS

It is 100% British and is sourced, spun and dyed in the UK. There are over 420 colours to choose from. The range is regularly mixed and blended together, creating infinite possibilities.

OUR STUDIO

We are based in London. Both of us are intimately involved in the design process. Izzy Hunt, who trained at the Royal School of Needlework, is in charge of all production and Emmie Hope deals directly with each client.

COMMISSIONS

Every commission starts with a blank canvas. No two commissions are ever the same, which is why we don’t have a set formula. It all depends on what you want. We will talk you through the stages, step by step.

Needlepoint lasts for a very long time, so the key is to have fun with the entire process.

OUR RANGE

We have been commissioned to stitch chair seats, footstools, cushions, wall art, Christmas stockings, cupboard doors, side tables and headboards. And the rest! Our Gallery page will give you a better understanding of our breadth.

OUR TEAM

Our production team is based in Madagascar which has a rich history of needlepoint and embroidery. Many know it as the country of ‘moramora’ meaning ‘no hurry’ which is very apt in relation to our work because it is complex, technical and labour intensive.

STITCHES

It all depends on the complexities of each individual design but an embroiderer can typically do 1,000 stitches per day. How many stitches are there in one of our pieces? An average chair seat needs about 40,000 and a 45cm x 30cm cushion needs 21,000.
